Choreography is the art of designing sequences of movements and birds both in flight as well as on still water arrange themselves masterfully. Artist and Author, Peggy Macnamara, will be the guest speaker for Natural Land Institute’s 2015 Annual Dinner. As an artist who studies nature, Macnamara has a keen eye for seeing details and bringing the subjects in her watercolor paintings to life. She will tell us about her work and experiences seeing nature from an artist’s perspective. Macnamara is the author of five books including, Illinois Insects and Spiders and The Art of Migration, which features her drawings and watercolors. She is also the Artist in Residence at the Field Museum and Professor at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Macnamara will also sign and sell her books at the Annual Dinner.
